Harvard ROTC Aviation Award Recipient 2019: 2nd Lt. Peter Hartnett (Air Force)

Lt. Hartnett dates his interest in aviation to age three, when he sat in a Cessna cockpit in Wichita, Kan. Growing up on Cape Cod, he was further inspired throughout his early years by the pilots and aircraft at Otis Air National Guard Base and Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod. He is aiming to become a Combat Aviation Advisor, based on his major in applied mathematics, his Arabic language skill, his international experiences, and his enthusiasm for flight.
